SNOW LEVELS COULD DROP TO AROUND 4000 FEET IN SOME OF THE HEAVIER SLEET OR SNOW SHOWERS. THROUGH 430 PM...LOOK FOR MOST OF THE SHOWER ACTIVITY TO EXTEND FROM THE LASSEN NATIONAL PARK REGION TO WELL SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF THE LAKE TAHOE AREA. MOTORISTS WILL WANT TO USE CAUTION AND ANTICIPATE THE POTENTIAL FOR SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS ABOVE THE 4000 FOOT LEVEL. IN ADDITION TO SNOW SHOWERS...LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS WILL BE LIKELY NEAR THE PASSES.
