SNOWFALL RATES AROUND ONE QUARTER INCH PER HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE MOUNTAINS MAINLY ABOVE 10 THOUSAND FEET...WHILE ONLY VERY LIGHT SNOW OR FLURRIES OCCUR IN VALLEY LOCATIONS. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH ABOVE TIMBERLINE IN THE INDIAN PEAKS AREA WILL PRODUCE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
