THE HEAVIEST SNOW SHOWERS WILL PRODUCE LOCAL ONE HALF INCH PER HOUR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AT TIMES FROM THE SMOKIES TO BEECH MOUNTAIN. THE SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE MORE SCATTERED IN NATURE EAST OF THE BLUE RIDGE. TEMPERATURES BELOW FREEZING WILL MAKE ROADS INCREASINGLY SLIPPERY AND HAZARDOUS.
