NOW...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS OVER MUCH OF EASTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO. MOVEMENT WILL BE TO THE NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THROUGH 12 PM MOST OF THE RAIN WILL BE FROM ROSWELL TO CLAYTON ON EAST TO THE TEXAS BORDER. RAIN WILL BE MODERATE AT TIMES...WITH RATES OF ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH AN HOUR. WINDS WILL GUST TO 50 MPH ALONG WITH CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IN THE STRONGER STORMS.
