.NOW...AT 10:40 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A SHRINKING AREA OF LIGHT PRECIPITATION FALLING ACROSS FAR NORTHWEST ARKANSAS AND EXTREME EASTERN OKLAHOMA. THE PRECIPITATION WAS FALLING PRIMARILY AS LIGHT SNOW...BUT OCCASIONALLY MIXED WITH LIGHT RAIN. THE ACTIVITY WAS MOVING SOUTH AT AROUND 30 MILES PER HOUR. THROUGH NOON...OCCASIONAL LIGHT SNOW AND LIGHT RAIN WILL CONTINUE FOR MAINLY ADAIR...SEQUOYAH AND LE FLORE COUNTIES OF FAR EASTERN OKLAHOMA...AS WELL AS NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. LIQUID EQUIVALENT TOTALS FROM A TRACE TO A COUPLE HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH WILL BE COMMON ACROSS THESE AREA...WITH NO MEASURABLE SNOWFALL EXPECTED.
