.NOW...ISOLATED SHOWERS WILL PUSH INTO THE NORTHERN SHENANDOAH VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON...WITH A FEW LINGER SHOWERS STILL PRESENT OVER LOWER SOUTHERN MARYLAND. THE ACTIVITY ACROSS THE NORTHERN SHENANDOAH VALLEY WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST INTO THE WESTERN SUBURBS OF THE WASHINGTON METRO AREA BY 3 PM...AND EASTERN MARYLAND THROUGH 4 PM. FAIRLY DRY CONDITIONS AT NEAR THE SURFACE WILL KEEP MUCH OF THIS ACTIVITY FROM REACHING THE GROUND. TEMPERATURES WILL PEAK INTO THE UPPER 40S AND LOWER 50S THIS AFTERNOON. GUSTY WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WILL ALSO CONTINUE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. ONLY A TRACE TO A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH OF RAIN EXPECTED THROUGH 4 PM.
