Two Programs, One Goal
weatherforyou.com was started in 1999 to support personal weather stations. To that end we've developed two programs to help acknowledge the contributions of people who have gone to the effort to provide relevant weather information for their town, from their town.
PWS Data Program - In cooperation with HAMweather and leading weather station software developers, the PWS Data Program includes near real time current conditions from personal weather stations with local forecasts along with credit to them and a link back to their web site. This data has been used to create regional weather sharing networks and is provided to the National Weather Service for research and educational purposes. If you have a weather station and software that supports weatherforyou.com click here for more information on how you can participate. If you don't have a weather station but want to get started in this great hobby, click here for information on how you can be the weather provider for your town.
Personal Weather Station Map - Below you'll find a map of personal weather stations. In addition to the PWS Data Program we offer this map so those that are unable to send data can still receive recognition for their work. If you have a weather station web site, click here to add your site to this map.
Links on this map will take you to sites outside of weatherforyou.com. Content on these sites are not controlled by, or are the responsibility of, weatherforyou.com. If any of the linked sites have inappropriate content, please e-mail webmaster@weatherforyou.com.
Click on the dots to go to Personal Weather Stations in that town. Use the tools at the top of the map to zoom and pan around the map, then click the arrow to select stations.
