Las vegas area broadcast media reported at Least 5 light poles fell down across the valley and at Least 6 large trees fell down. One of those large trees fell on a concrete block wall and knocked the wall down and another fell on a car. A tree fell on a power line near oakey and las vegas boulevard. A total of 1000 NV energy customers lost power near sams town and a total of 1400 NV energy customers lost power near Martin luther king and bonanza. Another 40 customers lost power downtown.
