This tornado moved to the south southwest across highway 92 and across the rotan golf club before lifting near the intersection of south genevieve avenue and highway 70 at 618 pm cdt. Damage to roof covering materials and tree damage was observed along this path. The observed damage was consistent with max wind speeds near 80 mph.
