FLOOD WATCH
Issue Date: 1126 AM EST TUE NOV 25 2014
Expiration: 1200 PM EST WED NOV 26 2014

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

.DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE STREAMING INTO WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA COMBINED WITH AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH MOVING EAST ACROSS
THE NORTHERN GULF AND A SURFACE LOW FORECAST TO DEVELOP ALONG A
FRONTAL BOUNDARY OVER THE EASTERN GULF OF MEXICO WILL BRING
WIDESPREAD AREAS OF RAIN WITH EMBEDDED STORMS TO THE REGION THE
REMAINDER OF TODAY THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY AS THESE FEATURES
AFFECT THE REGION. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES HAVE ALREADY
FALLEN ACROSS THE REGION THIS MORNING AND ADDITIONAL 2 TO 4 INCH
AMOUNTS CAN BE EXPECTED WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS UP TO 5 TO 6 INCHES
POSSIBLE THROUGH WEDNESDAY. THESE HEAVY RAINS WILL LIKELY LEAD TO
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AS WELL AS THE
PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS. RESIDENTS LIVING IN FLOOD PRONE
AREAS OR ALONG RIVERS OR FASTER FLOWING STREAMS SHOULD MONITOR
WATER LEVELS AND BE READY TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF FLOODING IS
OBSERVED.
