...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM MDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN DELTA AND NORTHEASTERN MESA COUNTIES...

AT 949 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED RAINFALL CONTINUING OVER THE 
WEST SALT CREEK LANDSLIDE AREA.  RADAR ALSO INDICATED OVER 1 INCH OF 
RAIN HAVING FALLEN ON THE LANDSLIDE.  FLASH FLOODING IS STILL 
POSSIBLE OVER THE AREA SO THE WARNING WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT.

EXCESSIVE RAINFALL OVER THE WARNING AREA WILL CAUSE MUD SLIDES NEAR
STEEP TERRAIN. THE MUD SLIDE CAN CONSIST OF ROCK...MUD...VEGETATION
AND OTHER LOOSE MATERIALS.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
COLLBRAN...GRAND MESA...AND THE WEST SALT CREEK LANDSLIDE AREA.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

* FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING DUE TO
HEAVY RAINFALL FROM MONSOONAL MOISTURE AND ANOTHER DISTURBANCE
THAT WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN AND CENTRAL COLORADO AND UTAH.
STORMS WILL ALSO BE SLOW MOVING FURTHER INCREASING FLASH
FLOODING RISKS.

* DEBRIS AND MUD FLOWS WILL BE POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY NEAR OLD BURN
SCARS. NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND SMALL STREAMS MAY FILL RAPIDLY.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
