A STRONG ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL ENTER SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...EXTREME
NORTHEAST TEXAS...AND THE NORTHERN SECTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS
AROUND DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY...WITH MUCH COLDER AIR SPILLING SOUTH
INTO EAST TEXAS AND NORTH LOUISIANA DURING THE DAY. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP NEAR AND JUST BEHIND THE COLD
FRONT...WITH A WINTRY MIX OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP FARTHER NORTH BEHIND THE FRONT DURING THE AFTERNOON OVER
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS TEMPERATURES QUICKLY
FALL TO OR BELOW FREEZING. THE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE OVER TO A
MIX OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WEDNESDAY EVENING OVER EXTREME

LOUISIANA THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. ISOLATED HIGHER ICE
ACCUMULATIONS GREATER THAN ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE
ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS. THE PRECIPITATION MAY

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SHREVEPORT HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST TUESDAY. 

* EVENT...AREAS OF FOG HAVE DEVELOPED THIS EVENING OVER MUCH OF
THE REGION. THE FOG IS EXPECTED TO REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO NEAR
OR LESS THAN ONE QUARTER OF A MILE LATER TONIGHT...AS WARMER
AIR BEGINS TO SHIFT NORTH ATOP A MUCH COLDER GROUND SURFACE.

* IMPACT...REDUCED VISIBILITIES WILL MAKE DRIVING HAZARDOUS
THROUGH MID MORNING TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY WHERE ROADS ARE WET.

warning continues for
the Bayou Dorcheat Near Springhill Louisiana.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1000 AM Monday the stage was 13.3 feet. 
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11 feet. 
* Forecast...Expect Bayou Dorcheat to recede to near 13.1 feet by
Tuesday morning.  Additional rises remain possible thereafter due
to additional rainfall in the weather forecast.  Finally...Bayou
Dorcheat crested at 13.6 feet during much of last Saturday...February
28.
* Impact...at 13.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding of boat ramps. Move 
livestock to higher ground.
