Radar showed a stripe of very heavy rain in southern jefferson county...Especially between sulphur springs and pinebergen. Reports from the metropolitan emergency communications association indicated water entered two homes on pinewood drive...Ryburn road was closed due to flooding...Flooding occurred on other roads including Old warren road and hazel. Reports from citizens indicated some 5 inch rainfall totals with as much as 5.5 inches on fallis road in the sulphur springs area.
