AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF NORTH AND NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS AS A COLD FRONT CONTINUES TO SLIDE TO THE SOUTH OF THE AREA. A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER WILL BE POSSIBLE AS WELL. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ACROSS SOME REGIONS WILL GENERALLY AVERAGE BETWEEN A TENTH AND ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH...WITH POTENTIALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS BENEATH ANY THUNDERSTORMS. OTHERWISE...TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING HOURS WILL CONTINUE TO PLUMMET TOWARDS THE FREEZING MARK BEHIND THE COLD FRONT. A GRADUAL TRANSITION TO WINTRY PRECIPITATION CAN BE EXPECTED PRIMARILY ALONG AND NORTH OF A BRECKENRIDGE TO SANGER TO SHERMAN LINE THROUGH 3 PM. IN ADDITION....NORTH WINDS WILL STRENGTHEN THIS AFTERNOON AND SUSTAINED WINDS OF 25 MPH ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME WIDESPREAD ACROSS ALL OF NORTH AND NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS. WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 30 AND 45 MPH CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED. THE STRONG WINDS WILL RESULT IN WIND CHILLS FALLING INTO THE 20S. FOR AREAS SOUTH OF WACO... IN ADDITION TO THE AFOREMENTIONED RAIN...AREAS OF PATCHY FOG WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. VISIBILITY IN SOME SPOTS MAY FALL TO AROUND 1 MILE IN SOME SPOTS. AS THE COLD FRONT SAGS SOUTHWARD...THE AREAS OF PATCHY FOG WILL DISSIPATE.
