MOST OF THE SHOWERS WILL BE LIGHT...BUT SHOWERS MAY REPEATEDLY MOVE OVER THE SAME AREA RESULTING IN RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF A QUARTER TO A THIRD OF AN INCH OR MORE AT SOME LOCATIONS. VARIOUS WIND PROFILING RADARS ARE ESTIMATING THE SNOW LEVEL AT 3500 FEET...TO A LITTLE OVER 4000 FEET THIS MORNING. THE SNOW LEVELS MAY LOWER ANOTHER 500 FEET OR SO LATER THIS MORNING. SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO END FROM NORTH TO SOUTH OVER THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS EVENING AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE CALIFORNIA COAST MOVES SOUTHWARD.
