NOW...THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO PRODUCE MODERATE RAINFALL ACROSS PORTIONS OF YAVAPAI COUNTY. AT 315 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN SELIGMAN...PERKINSVILLE... CORDES JUNCTION...AND BAGDAD. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 15 MPH. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WERE SOUTH OF SELIGMAN...NEAR CHINO VALLEY...AND NEAR CORDES JUNCTION. EXCESS RAINFALL MAY PRODUCE BRIEF RISES IN STREAMS AND NORMALLY DRY WASHES...INCLUDING BUT LIMITED TO...LITTLE CHINO VALLEY...AND THE AGUA FRIA RIVER. SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS MAY CONTAIN DIME SIZE HAIL.
