THE STRONGEST AND MOST NUMEROUS STORMS WILL SPREAD FROM GRAND AND LARIMER COUNTIES SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE I-70 CORRIDOR AND SOUTHERN FOOTHILLS LATER THIS AFTERNOON. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL...SMALL HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY WINDS UP TO 40 MPH. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE HALF TO 1 INCH CAN BE EXPECTED IN LESS THAN 45 MINUTES WITH THE MORE INTENSE STORMS DEVELOPING IN THE FOOTHILLS.
