.NOW...SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT SOUTHERN FLORIDA DURING THE EVENING HOURS. THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS THROUGH 1030 PM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN MIAMI DADE COUNTY INCLUDING THE TOWN OF HOMESTEAD. THESE SHOWERS COULD PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS AS THEY RAPIDLY MOVE TO THE EAST AT 25 TO 30 MPH. SHOWERS WILL ALSO AFFECT THE ADJACENT AND OFFSHORE ATLANTIC WATERS AS WELL AS THE GULF WATERS THROUGH 1030 PM. SHOWERS WILL BEGIN TO DIMINISH AS A COLD FRONT MOVES TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF THE FLORIDA PENINSULA WHICH IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR SOMEWHERE AROUND MIDNIGHT.
