.NOW...SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE EASTERN PORTION OF SOUTH FLORIDA AS WELL AS THE ADJACENT AND OFFSHORE ATLANTIC WATERS. THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS WILL AFFECT THE OFFSHORE WATERS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY FROM 40 NAUTICAL MILES OUT TO THE TERRITORIAL WATERS OF THE BAHAMAS. HEAVY SHOWERS WILL ALSO AFFECT INTERIOR PORTIONS OF MIAMI DADE COUNTY AS THEY RAPIDLY MOVE IN FROM MAINLAND MONROE COUNTY OVER THE NEXT HOUR. THESE SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO RAPIDLY MOVE TO THE EAST AT 25 TO 30 MPH AS THEY BEGIN TO DIMINISH DURING THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.
