.NOW...THROUGH 500 PM...WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS..WITH AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM POSSIBLE... WILL CONTINUE TO FORM ACROSS THE INLAND PORTIONS OF THE EASTERN HALF OF SOUTH FLORIDA. THE HEAVIEST ACTIVITY IS SOUTHEAST OF LAKE OKEECHOBEE. THE SHOWERS WILL DRIFT NORTHEAST NEAR 10 MPH AND PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS WITH GUSTY WINDS TO NEAR 20 MPH. A FEW OF THE SHOWERS MAY AFFECT THE EAST COAST METRO AREAS.
