MOST OF THE SHOWERS WILL OCCUR JUST NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40 AND WILL BE MOVING NORTHEAST AT AROUND 10 TO 15 MPH. THE HEAVIEST STORMS ARE IN NORTHWEST MOORE COUNTY AND WILL BE PASSING JUST TO THE SOUTHEAST OF CACTUS THROUGH 4 AM. SINCE THE STORMS ARE MOVING RATHER SLOW...PERSONS TRAVELING IN THE AREA SHOULD BE ALERT FOR PONDING WATER ON ROADWAYS. CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL ALSO BE A CONCERN NEAR THESE STORMS. TRAVELERS ON INTERSTATE 40 EXPECT WET ROAD SURFACES AS SHOWERS CONTINUE TO PASS OVER THE AREA. OTHER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE AFFECTING THE COMMUNITIES OF VEGA...AMARILLO...MIAMI...AND MCLEAN THIS MORNING.
