.NOW...A LARGE AREA OF HEAVY RAINSHOWERS...WITH AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM...CONTINUES TO AFFECT MUCH OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS THIS AFTERNOON. OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS...THE RAINS WILL CONTINUE AS AN UPPER LEVEL STORM MOVES EAST ACROSS THE STATE. RAINFALL TOTALS WILL AVERAGE BETWEEN ONE QUARTER AND ONE HALF INCH...ALTHOUGH SOME AREAS MAY SEE TOTALS AS HIGH AS 1 TO 2 INCHES. THE HEAVIEST RAINS WILL FALL NEAR KERRVILLE AND WESTERN GILLESPIE COUNTY...AS WELL AS AREAS ALONG AND NEAR HIGHWAYS 71 AND 290 FROM THE EASTERN HILL COUNTRY OVER TO GRANGE AND GONZALES.
