.NOW...AT 9:45 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADARS INDICATED AREAS OF PRECIPITATION MOVING ACROSS EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. SNOW WAS FALLING NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44...WHILE RAIN SHOWERS WERE MIXING IN WITH FREEZING RAIN...SNOW AND SLEET ALONG AND BEHIND A FREEZING LINE WHICH WAS LOCATED ALONG A LINE FROM NEAR HANNA TO NEAR JAY. TO THE SOUTH OF THIS FREEZING LINE...RAIN SHOWERS WERE OCCURRING ACROSS THE REST OF THE REGION. ALL OF THIS ACTIVITY WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT AROUND 25 MILES AN HOUR. THROUGH 11 AM...RAIN SHOWERS...CHANGING TO FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET AND THEN OVER TO SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND INTO NORTHWEST ARKANSAS AS THE FREEZING LINE SLOWLY MOVES SOUTHEAST. HOURLY SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS WILL GENERALLY BE UP TO A HALF INCH...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WITHIN THE HEAVIER BANDS. TO THE SOUTH OF THE FREEZING LINE...RAIN SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE FOR THE REST OF THE REGION. HOURLY RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WITHIN THE HEAVIER RAIN SHOWERS. A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS UNTIL 7 PM CDT SUNDAY.
