.NOW...NUMEROUS RAIN SHOWERS OVER THE MOJAVE DESERT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE TO THE NORTH THIS EVENING. AT TIMES...THE RAIN RATE WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY AS A STRONGER STORM CELL MOVE OVERHEAD. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL MAINLY BE LESS THAN A QUARTER OF AN INCH BUT SOME AREAS WILL SEE BETWEEN A QUARTER AND A HALF AN INCH. SOME PONDING OF WATER WILL OCCUR IN LOW LYING AREAS AS WELL AS IN POORLY DRAINED ROADWAYS.
