THE ACTIVITY WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 TO 30 MILES PER HOUR. THROUGH 8:45 AM...WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND OCCASIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST FOR LOCATIONS MAINLY NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40...WITH ISOLATED ACTIVITY EXPECTED SOUTH OF THIS LINE. PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL WILL REMAIN COMMON...AND MAY RESULT IN LOCALIZED FLOODING FOR SOME AREAS. THE ACTIVITY WILL BE NEARLY CONTINUOUS DURING THIS TIME FOR AREAS OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40 AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 69...WHERE AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE.
