.NOW...REGIONAL WEATHER DISCUSSION... STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP BETWEEN 1 AND 2 PM... ALONG AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY PRODUCED FROM EARLIER CONVECTION. THIS BOUNDARY WAS LOCATED FROM NEAR HOLDENVILLE AND PURCELL WEST TO CHICKASHA AND JUST NORTH OF HOBART. THESE STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME SEVERE PRODUCING LARGE HAIL... STRONG WIND GUSTS... VERY HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING AS THEY MOVE TOWARD THE EAST AT 20 TO 25 MPH. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT WILL BE POSSIBLE FARTHER WEST AND NORTHWEST ALONG A COLD FRONT THAT IS LOCATED FROM CENTRAL KANSAS ACROSS FAR NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA INTO THE CENTRAL TEXAS PANHANDLE. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE NUMEROUS THIS AFTERNOON WITH DAYTIME HEATING AND THE ATMOSPHERE BECOMING INCREASINGLY UNSTABLE.... ESPECIALLY ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF THE SOUTHERN HALF OF OKLAHOMA THROUGH 8 PM THIS EVENING.
