.NOW...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM FOR THE SOUTHEAST TEXAS PANHANDLE... THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST AND SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE ALONG A COLD FRONT THAT IS PUSHING THROUGH THE REGION. SOME OF THE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF BECOMING SEVERE WITH HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. HEAVY RAIN MAY ALSO CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING. SOME COMMUNITIES THAT WILL BE AFFECTED THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS INCLUDE HEDLEY...DODSON...QUAIL... WELLINGTON AND LUTIE. IN ADDITION...ISOLATED SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS PANHANDLE. RAIN AMOUNTS FROM THESE SHOWERS SHOULD BE LIGHT...GENERALLY LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH. LOCATIONS THAT COULD BE AFFECTED BY THESE SHOWERS THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS INCLUDE UMBARGER...AMARILLO...WAYSIDE...AND CANYON. THE SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST THROUGH 8 PM CDT AND WEAKEN.
