RADAR AT 4 PM INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM MCALESTER SOUTHEASTWARD INTO THE SOUTHEASTERN CORNER OF OKLAHOMA. AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM ALSO WAS BETWEEN HOLDENVILLE AND WETUMKA. THE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHWEST AT AROUND 15 MPH.... AND WILL LIKELY ARRIVE IN THE COALGATE... ATOKA... ATOKA LAKE... AND MCGEE CREEK LAKE AREAS BY 5 PM. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF HEAVY RAIN... FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING... AND WIND GUSTS TO OVER 40 MPH. THE STORMS MAY REACH THE ADA AND DURANT AREAS BY 6 PM. OUTFLOW FROM THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL LOWER TEMPERATURES INTO THE 70S IN SOME AREAS. ELSEWHERE... TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 90S TO AROUND 102 THROUGH 6 PM... WITH HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 100 AND 105 IN MANY AREAS.
