.NOW...REGIONAL WEATHER DISCUSSION... AT 745 AM...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST FROM EASTERN NEW MEXICO...THROUGH THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES...AND INTO SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS. THE PRECIPITATION WAS DEVELOPING ALONG A MID LEVEL MOISTURE AXIS...AND AHEAD OF A STRONG UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM CENTERED OVER THE GREAT BASIN. THOUGH THE HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION WILL REMAIN TO THE WEST THROUGH 10 AM...PORTIONS OF FAR NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA MAY RECEIVE SOME LIGHT RAIN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THIS ACTIVITY. ELSEWHERE...HIGH CLOUDS WILL MOVE ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST. WINDS WILL BE FROM THE SOUTHEAST AT SPEEDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH. TEMPERATURES WILL RISE INTO THE MID TO UPPER 70S BY NOON.
