AT 1220 PM...THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MAINLY AFFECTING AREAS FROM AROUND WOODWARD AND BUFFALO...TO AROUND CHEROKEE AND ALVA. ALTHOUGH LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN WILL BE PREVALENT...ISOLATED AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED. OTHER ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALSO DEVELOPING FROM NEAR WICHITA FALLS NORTHEASTWARD TO AROUND THE OKLAHOMA CITY METRO AREA AND ADA AND SEMINOLE. MAINLY LIGHT TO BRIEFLY MODERATE RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AIDED BY AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING INTO WESTERN KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA. WITH WEAK WINDS AND ALOFT AND MODEST
