.NOW...A STRONG COLD FRONT IS MOVING THROUGH NORTH TEXAS EARLY THIS MORNING WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AND BEHIND THE FRONT. AREAS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS EXTEND FROM NEAR SHERMAN TO FORT WORTH TO HAMILTON. THIS COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH ALL OF NORTH TEXAS THROUGH THE MORNING WITH AREAS OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS AFFECTING MUCH OF THE AREA. MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL WITH OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 5 AM. THE HEAVIEST OF THE RAINFALL AMOUNTS SHOULD BE AROUND 1 INCH. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP SHARPLY BEHIND THE FRONT AS WINDS SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND BECOME GUSTY.
