LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE EXTREME EASTERN PANHANDLE OF WEST VIRGINIA...NORTHERN VIRGINIA AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA OVERNIGHT. THROUGH 3 AM...THE HEAVIER SNOW BANDS WILL AFFECT THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA...LOUDOUN...FAIRFAX AND PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTIES THROUGH 3 AM. GENERALLY SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL AVERAGE ONE HALF TO ONE INCH AN HOUR...BUT WITHIN THE HEAVIER SNOW BANDS...SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES AN HOUR WILL BE LIKELY. NORTHEAST WINDS OF 5 TO 10 MPH WILL CONTINUE...WITH TEMPERATURES HOLDING IN THE MID TO UPPER 20S.
