.NOW...THROUGH 1 PM EST...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 34 KNOTS AND VERY HEAVY RAINS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE FAR OFFSHORE ATLANTIC COASTAL WATERS OF MAINLAND SOUTHEAST FLORIDA. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE FROM 20 TO 55 MILES OFFSHORE THE BARRIER ISLANDS. OVER THE METRO AREAS OF BROWARD AND MIAMI-DADE, RAINFALL WILL BE SLACKENING BUT ISOLATED LIGHT SHOWERS WILL STILL BE POSSIBLE. ALL ACTIVITY WILL BE MOVING NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 15 KNOTS.
