THROUGH 10 AM EST...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING WIND GUSTS AROUND 40 MPH AND VERY HEAVY RAINS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS METRO MIAMI- DADE AND BROWARD COUNTIES. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS EXTEND FROM BISCAYNE BAY NORTH ACROSS MIAMI AND MIAMI BEACH TO HOLLYWOOD, FORT LAUDERDALE AND POMPANO BEACH. RAIN RATES OF 1.5 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS. WIND GUSTS AS HIGH AS 40 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. ALL ACTIVITY WILL BE MOVING NORTH AROUND 15 MILES AN HOUR.
