AT 130 PM...MELBOURNE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED SPOTTY SHOWERS AROUND THE CAPE CANAVERAL AREA...WITH A FEWS SHOWERS OVER MARTIN COUNTY...AND A FEW SHOWERS AND STORMS OVER POLK AND SOUTHERN LAKE COUNTIES. THROUGH 4:00 PM...EXPECT SOME INCREASE IN COVERAGE OF RAINFALL...MAINLY ALONG THE EAST COAST SEA BREEZE AS IT PUSHES SLOWLY WESTWARD TO BETWEEN INTERSTATE 95 AND THE SAINT JOHNS RIVER. A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG...WITH GUSTY WINDS...TORRENTIAL RAINFALL AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
