.NOW...THROUGH NOON EDT /11 AM CDT/...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE AND BECOME WIDESPREAD ACROSS THE TRI STATE AREA THIS MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. HEAVIEST RAINFALL FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS...WITH RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR...WILL BE OVER PORTIONS OF THE EASTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE FROM NORTHERN WALTON COUNTY ACROSS HOLMES COUNTY INTO WESTERN JACKSON COUNTY. HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS INTERSTATE 10 FROM THE WESTERN FLORIDA BIG BEND ACROSS THE EASTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES...AND CREATE DANGEROUS POOLING OF WATER ON THE ROADWAYS. RAINFALL WILL BE INCREASING ACROSS SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS... AND SHOWERS WILL SLOWLY INCREASE ACROSS THE EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE FLORIDA BIG BEND.
