.NOW...SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO TRACK EAST SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE QUAD STATE...MAINLY TO THE SOUTHEAST OF THE WABASH AND OHIO RIVERS. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY IS LIGHT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A FEW BURSTS OF HEAVIER SNOW WHICH WILL RESULT IN A QUICK DUSTING IN SPOTS...ESPECIALLY BETWEEN HENDERSON AND OWENSBORO IN KENTUCKY. INDIVIDUAL SNOW SHOWERS WILL LAST AROUND 20 MINUTES. FURTHER NORTHWEST ACROSS ILLINOIS THERE IS A LULL IN THE ACTIVITY...BUT A FEW ADDITIONAL SNOW SHOWERS MAY MOVE INTO THE AREA LATER TONIGHT. WEST WINDS WILL PERSIST AT 15 TO 25 MILES PER HOUR. USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING TONIGHT AS THERE WILL BE SOME SLICK SPOTS. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR PATCHY BLACK ICE PARTICULARLY ON LESSER TRAVELED ROADS.
