SOME OF THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL AFFECT AREAS NORTHEAST OF AN OAKDALE TO LAFAYETTE LINE. OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINFALL WITH RATES BETWEEN ONE AND TWO INCHES PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE. THESE RAINFALL RATES MAY CAUSE SOME PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND LOW LYING AREAS.
