SOME OF THE HEAVIER ACTIVITY...WITH MODERATE RAIN FALLING ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE POTOMAC HIGHLANDS AND NORTHERN SHENANDOAH VALLEY...AND ACROSS THE I-66 CORRIDOR INTO THE WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA. MUCH OF THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE LIGHT AND INTERMITTENT...THOUGH VISIBILITIES MAY BEGIN TO DROP TO WITHIN A COUPLE OF MILES WITH EITHER HEAVIER RAIN OR DRIZZLE. RAINFALL OF A TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS IS EXPECTED THROUGH 8 PM...WITH TEMPERATURES REMAINING STEADY IN THE UPPER 40S AND LOWER 50S.
