HEAVY DOWNPOURS FROM THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE UP TO AN INCH OF RAIN IN AN HOUR. OTHERWISE...RAINFALL IN SHOWERS WILL GENERALLY BE A QUARTER OF AN INCH OR LESS. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE DOTTED AROUND THE REST OF THE MID SOUTH WITH A RAINFREE ZONE IN AREAS ADJACENT TO THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. ALL THE RAIN IS MOVING TO THE NORTH...NORTHEAST.
