.NOW...JUST BEFORE 4 PM MDT...A SHORT LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND PERHAPS SOME GUSTY WINDS WAS LOCATED 5 TO 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GRENVILLE. THE LINE WAS MOVING TO THE EAST BETWEEN 15 AND 20 MPH...THOUGH A SLIGHT NORTHWARD DRIFT WAS ALSO NOTED. THESE STORMS...IF THEY HOLD TOGETHER...WILL BE CLOSE TO MOUNT DORA BY 430 OR 5 PM MDT. OTHER WEAKER SHOWERS AND STORMS WERE WIDELY SCATTERED WEST OF A LINE FROM DES MOINES TO LAS VEGAS. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTHEAST NEAR 25 MPH. BRIEF GUSTY WINDS OF 20 TO 35 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED WITH SOME OF THE HEAVIER SHOWERS...THOUGH RAINFALL AMOUNTS FROM INDIVIDUAL CELLS SHOULD REMAIN MAINLY BETWEEN A TENTH AND A QUARTER OF AN INCH...BUT AMOUNTS COULD BECOME A LITTLE GREATER THROUGH THE EVENING. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS OR STORMS SHOULD DEVELOP EAST AND SOUTH FROM THE CURRENT ACTIVITY ALSO BY EARLY EVENING.
