.NOW...THE SHORT TERM FORECAST FOR PORTIONS OF THE WESTERN SOUTHERN TIER AND GENESEE VALLEY. AREAS OF DENSE RIVER VALLEY FOG WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MID MORNING. THE MOST WIDESPREAD FOG WILL BE FOUND ALONG THE ALLEGHENY AND GENESEE RIVERS AND THEIR TRIBUTARIES. VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES IN A FEW SPOTS. SOME MAJOR HIGHWAYS IMPACTED BY FOG INCLUDE INTERSTATE 86 BETWEEN RANDOLPH AND ANGELICA...INTERSTATE 390 BETWEEN DANSVILLE AND THE NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY...AND THE NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY BETWEEN SCOTTSVILLE AND VICTOR. MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY. THE FOG IS EXPECTED TO DISSIPATE AFTER ABOUT 930 AM.
