Fayetteville ( FAY-ət-vil, locally FED-vəl) is a city in and the county seat of Cumberland County, North Carolina, United States. Fort Bragg, a U.S. Army installation, is located in the city.
Fayetteville has received the All-America City Award from the National Civic League four times.
