NORTHEASTWARD THROUGH THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES... AND ONWARD INTO CENTRAL KANSAS. A MILD AND HUMID AIRMASS IS PRESENT AHEAD OF THE FRONT. MEANWHILE... THE CENTER OF AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM IS MOVING THROUGH NORTHEAST TEXAS TOWARD ARKANSAS AND FAR SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA. AN AREA OF RAIN SHOWERS WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS HAS DEVELOPED AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT OVER NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA IN AN AREA OF ELEVATED INSTABILITY.
