MOST LOCATIONS WILL NOT EXPERIENCE SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS. HOWEVER...LOCATIONS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40 AND EAST OF INTERSTATE 65 ...ALONG WITH LOCATIONS ACROSS THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU REGION... COULD EXPERIENCE ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL AMOUNTS RANGING FROM A DUSTING ACROSS WESTERN PORTIONS OF THIS AREA TO UP TO ONE INCH ACROSS THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU REGION. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO FALL FROM MAINLY THE LOWER 20S TO AROUND 20 IN MANY LOCATIONS...WITH UPPER TEENS ACROSS THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU REGION. WITH SOME LOCATIONS EXPERIENCING GUSTY WINDS...AND WITH THE POTENTIAL OF SOME OF THESE GUST BEING AS HIGH AS 25 MPH...WIND CHILL READINGS FROM THE MID SINGLE DIGITS THROUGH THE TEENS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 200 AM CST WEDNESDAY. HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING ACROSS AREA ROADWAYS OVERNIGHT DUE TO THE GUSTY WINDS. LOCATIONS THAT HAVE RECEIVED SNOW MELT TUESDAY AFTERNOON...WITH STREETS AND SIDEWALKS THAT CONTINUED TO REMAIN WET THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS...HAVE ICED OVER. AS A RESULT...ALL MOTORIST SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING ON AREA ROADWAYS OVERNIGHT. EXERCISE CAUTION ALSO IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON GOING OUTSIDE AND WALKING ON SIDEWALKS OR OTHER SLIPPERY SURFACES. THESE CONDITIONS CAN BE ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS FOR THE ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED.
