THROUGH 7 AM...THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE FAR EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE...GENERALLY EAST OF A LINE FROM CANADIAN TO CHILDRESS. ADDITIONAL LIGHT SHOWERS WILL OCCUR FROM NEAR VEGA TO FOUR WAY...TO STINNETT. RAINFALL AMOUNTS THROUGH 7 AM WILL GENERALLY REMAIN BELOW ONE TENTH OF AN INCH. ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED LATER THIS MORNING AS A STRONG UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM APPROACHES THE AREA FROM THE WEST.
