200000' - Approaching levels seen during the historic flood of 1987. Roadways will remain unsafe during and after the storm with significant property damages between Skowhegan and Clinton.
170000' - Flood levels are comparable with the severe impacts on December 2023. Several main thruways flooded making travel difficult. River Street in Skowhegan floods to a depth of a foot. The Margaret Chase Smith bridge floods.
150000' - In Skowhegan, flooding occurs along Elm and Alder Streets. If there are corresponding high flows on Whitten Brook then flood impacts could to Pleasant and Summer Streets.
125000' - Major flooding occurs. Impacts expanding into multiple buildings along East River Road in Clinton. Transportation through the area is impacted by flooding along Route 2 in Skowhegan.
100000' - Moderate flooding occurs. Closure of Route 2 in Skowhegan likely causing major travel disruptions to the area. The river nears bankfull in Skowhegan along Elm and Alder Streets near the Weston Dam. Properties along East River Road in Clinton surrounded by flood waters with emergency access cut-off.
80000' - Expanding minor flood impacts across low lying areas. There are increasing backwater issues possible between Norridgewock to Clinton. In Skowhegan water encroaches on Route 2 near Malbons Mill Road and near the boat ramp. East River Road floods to a depth of 1 to 2 feet in Clinton.
60000' - Lower portions of East River Road in Clinton floods near Peavey Road. Water is up to Canaan Road in Skowhegan.
35000' - Water inundates low lying seasonal campgrounds in Skowhegan. Campers should move to higher ground.
