35' - very severe flooding occurs from Collinsville to points downstream. Considerable farmland is flooded. Rural roads near the river become impassable. Some homes northeast of Collinsville just off Highway 169 near the Caney River are flooded. This will exceed the stage on May 11, 1993 when the Caney River crested at 34.4 feet. This is an extremely dangerous and life threatening situation.
34' - very severe flooding occurs from Collinsville to points downstream. Considerable farmland is flooded. Rural roads near the river become impassable. Some homes northeast of Collinsville just off Highway 169 near the Caney River are flooded. This will compare with the stage on July 4, 2007 when the Caney River crested at 34.2 feet. This is an extremely dangerous and life threatening situation.
33' - severe flooding occurs. Considerable farmland is flooded. Rural roads near the river become impassable. Some homes northeast of Collinsville just off Highway 169 near the Caney River may be flooded. For comparison purposes, the Caney River near Collinsville crested at 34.2 feet on July 4, 2007. This is a dangerous situation.
32' - considerable farmland is flooded. County roads near the river become impassable.
31' - widespread moderate flooding occurs. Rural roads near the Caney River become impassable.
29' - moderate agricultural flooding occurs. Rural roads near the main channel may become impassable.
28' - minor agricultural flooding occurs. County roads north of Collinsville become impassable.
27' - minor agricultural flooding occurs. County roads north of Collinsville may be covered with water.
26' - minor lowland flooding occurs.
