59.21' - This flood will exceed the highest stage on record.<br><br>52' - Major flooding occurs.  Large amounts of land are inundated and many homes and businesses will require evacuation.<br><br>45' - Large portions of Point Township in Posey county are flooded.<br><br>40' - Farm land and some main roads are flooded in places southwest and west of Mt. Vernon.<br><br>28' - Flooding of numerous sloughs on both sides of the river occurs.  Flood waters will begin to back into the lower Wabash River flooding bottomlands in that area.<br><br>
