26' - the river reaches minor flood stage. The north approach of U.S. Highway 285 begins to flood. The railroad bridge about 2 miles downstream may begin to flood. Area rangeland inundates. Cattle losses are possible, but no other damage is known to occur.

20' - area rangeland continues to flood. Some cattle may be threatened, but no other damage is known to occur.

15' - the river reaches bankfull, and low-lying areas of adjacent rangeland begin to flood. However, no significant damage is expected. Banks are ill-defined, but stages below 15 feet should remain primarily within the channel.
